I woke up one morning with a cig in my hand, overweight,non-meat eater. Big sugar junkie. Pill popping, no exercise lunatic. Dont get me wrong I was having fun on cloud 9 but one day I looked at myself in the mirror and thought well I need no outfit for Halloween. It was sad. Considering I was once a beauty queen. I got this way slowly. My mom (best friend) had stage 4 Uterine-Endometrail cancer! She was covered in it with dozens of tumors. WHich normal Cat scans failed to pick up. They told her to go home and die, and she maybe had a year. Well I went nuts for 5 years. There is always thos tiny miracle people who defy the odd's. Its like winning the lotto. All medical people look at her like she is a alien she is so healthy now. However the return does hand over our heads like an axe and the odds are scary. But its been 6 years of glorious health.When I came out of my Xanax haze I started to do research on every piece of food vitamin supplement exercise, even how to breathe, even how to take a bath and what soaps shampoo's etc. I think I even called my Mom once and told her how to have sex. She hung up on me. I was on a roll. I learned that there is no one diet to follow. Find the right one and stick to it. Overload yourself with rich veggies, fruits and if your a meat hater GET PROTEIN somehow. A little exercise goes far. I dropped 18lbs in one month. I was not starving. Trust me. I detoxed my body from all the bad foods and sugars we Americans eat. I also studied other countries and their health situations. The smoking? I quit in one day with the help of an e-cig called silver bullet from Altsmoke! I started taking a few vitamins and a few supplements. I was glowing. My skin and hair and nails looked 25. I AM NOT 25. I did chemical peels you name it. E-mail if you like and I will go step by step. I am the queen of Retinols and other product info. Everything really changed for the better for me My Mom and family when I got this book! Except my husband, but hey if he wants to die slowly with disease, his choice. I will enjoy his life insurance policy quicker. Kidiing! Well sort of! Every person I buy this book for or give long winded speeches about this book and coconut oil just changes like magic! This book has a wealth of information. It changed our way of thinking, eating, living, cooking, buying groceries ets. It also lead us to other informative books. It really was ground breaking for us. One simple thing to look at. Look at how other countries are void of heart disease and certain cancers. See what they are eating. Look how thin they are. Research your cooking oils and be prepared to be horrified! Also people start watching Dr.OZ every day if you can. My hair is glorious. Nails long strong and beautiful, skin everywhere is tight suptle and glowing. My weight is dropping off. I feel clean inside. More energy. I was eating poison before my lifestyle change. For another reason to buy this book, coconut oil is a cure for just about everything?! You dont have to drastic change over night like myself. Take it slow, but start with this book! Watch Dr.OZ or read Dr. Blaylock's(Johns Hopkins ) site. Dr. Perricone site is a big wealth of info as well. Take a piece from each one, do your own research and make a plan. Once you have stuck to it for a few weeks, you feel so good and look so good you dont want to go back to eating bad. The fried chicken looks gross. The cookies look like cancer poison. Unless its a healthy cookie homemade. But if your on a diet just stay away from sweets. Its like crack. This is the best book or information I have found so far on my quest for health and beauty for my whole family. People please learn what oils your frying in. What it does and how its made. Our bodies cant even consume it. Its rancid oil if nots kept cold. Guess what? Companies dont keep it cool. It sits on shelves and hot trucks for weeks. Even the color of the bottle is important. ITS ALL bad. Plus learn about cold pressing. SO imporatnt. Look at the Islanders eating coconut all day. What cancers do they have? What heart disease do they have? Overweight? Nope. Africans rich of fiber food have no colon cancer. The Japenese who eat tons of Chlorella look at their health. I know I am spelling things wrong but I could care less. Also buy a vitamin bible, dont go over board. Know your vitamins. Take them at certain times of day and take them together with other certain vitamins. Research the right skin and hair products. Coconut oil hleps hair growth, even on eyebrows and eye lashes. Not over night, but within 1 month mine were looking like movie stars. My hair could be in a TV commercial and I dye it and bleach it. Whole other subject. But coconut oil has been the biggest factor. The book reads so well and gets you excited and motivated and gives such researched information it leaves you stunned. The dog even gets coconut oil every day. I treasure this book and it also brought me to other wonderful informative books so thank you GOD or the God's for Dr. Fife and Jon Kabara for writing it. By no means am I saying this has anything to do with my Moms cancer treatment by the way. I started this journey long after chemo. This is just something extra we studied and use to keep healthy and young. It will lead you to so many directions to study. I still pop Xanax just cause I can and cause I want to and because I have panic attacks and I hate my husband but my health is night and day now. People say i look like I am in my early 20s. I tell them I am 36 and they are shocked. I am for sure not 36. I lie to them. I have been 36 for a long time. I will stay at 36 for sure now. This review may seem silly, but I am no writer or cant put into words all the medical terms and list every slice of info, but trust me, it really changed my life. Along with Dr.OZ and Dr. Perricone and Dr.Blaylock. Oh the Vitamin Bible too! Take the time for yourself and research your health. Whats more important? If you smoke? Well you have a death sentence and you will die and suffer of disease and look like a wrinkled prune. Period. Every cig has 14 thousand chemicals. So every puff you kill yourself slowly.
